How did Vienna appear at the end of the 1800s? It is shown in detail in a photo album published in Dresden by Römmler & Jonas in 1899, and for sale on the Graben, in the Habsburg capital, from the library of Rudolph Lechner and Wilhelm Müller.
The quality of the photographs and the accuracy of their reproduction for the album tells it all about the excellence of the editorial operation that mixed the different skills of all four characters involved, to which the history of photography, Austrian and German, owes a lot.
