photography by Massimo Pacifico
The Nuovo Centro per l’Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci reopened on October 16th, 2016, after the completion of its enlargement by the Dutch architect Maurice Nio, and the original building redevelopment by Italo Gamberini.
For the reopening, the Centro Pecci is hosting the exhibition “LA FINE DEL MONDO (THE END OF THE WORLD)” curated by the director Fabio Cavallucci.
LA FINE DEL MONDO with works of different nature, often to have to be physically crossed, in a scansion of space and sound that follow one another, drag in a continuous motion, a kind of loop, of eternal return that rhythmically distances and draws one to the present.
Throughout the exhibition all the expressions and artistic languages are interconnected. Music, theater, cinema, architecture and dance are mixed as integrated and engaging moments.
