Inaugurated on 8th July 2019, the AION exhibition (αἰών; from the archaic αἰϝών, aiwón indicates in the ancient Greek language the “vital force”, the “duration”, the “eternity”) by the Franco-Brazilian sculptor Louise Manzon – in the photograph below – will be showing until the 8th September at the Museo Marino Marini in Florence. Three multi-material sculptures that evoke the perennial migration process among people and are dedicated by the artist “to migrants, noble figures who know how to cry without tears”.
